Born and raised in San Jose, Jerrod found his love for art at an early age. He graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Illustration and went on to work in the Educational Software industry as an art director.
Since then, Jerrod has worked with several notable companies including Disney Consumer Products, Mattel & Hostess, to name a few. Jerrod is currently a freelance Illustrator and character designer residing in Sacramento, California.
Francisco Herrera was born in Campeche, Campeche, Mexico. He started his career in 1994, drawing characters for style guides at Disney Consumer Products, but quickly transitioned to the American Comic Book industry where he had the opportunity to work on character design for several animated and feature films in the United States, France and Mexico. Since then Francisco has released various sketch books and hard cover books, offering tips on how to design characters in three different languages and has the opportunity to continue his work for notable franchises including Marvel and Disney.
John is an artist based in Los Angeles. He acquired his art education at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
John’s paintings and sculptures are influenced by his love of the theater. Elaborate costumes, scenic designs, and whimsical storytelling are evident in his work.
Along with visual, John also pursued performing arts, which led him to “The Happiest Place on Earth.” John performed at the Disneyland Resort ®, Walt Disney World Resort®, and Tokyo Disneyland Resort®. His roles included Prince Charming, Prince Eric, Prince Phillip, Snow White’s Prince, Burt from Mary Poppins, and Tarzan. These roles gave him special insight into the world of Disney.
In addition to his art and Disney career John has enjoyed a twenty-year modeling career that has taken him around the world. He can still be seen in various print ads and television commercials.
Katie Cook is an illustrator and writer who has been working professionally in licensing for over a decade. For Disney she’s illustrated several Star Wars books (including ABC-3PO and Obi-123!) and more. She has also done work for Marvel, DC, IDW, The Jim Henson Company, Boom and several other major publishers. She lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her family and many cats… but she tries to make it out to Disneyland at least once a year because if she doesn’t she goes into Haunted Mansion withdrawal.
