Ben Burch

Benjamin started drawing ever since he could remember. But before he was ever inspired by the beautiful talents of Picasso, Monet, or Charlie Harper, he was sucked into the worlds conceived by artists like Ward Kimball, Maurice Noble, and Dr. Seuss.

Born in Germany from American parents in the military (father from Nebraska and mother from Massachusetts), Ben spent his life moving around the world.  And it is his life experiences that he draws from and is the most inspired by these days.  ”I grew up always wanting to work in animation production, it has been a struggle but I’ve managed to carve a living doing that for over ten years now working for various studios from commercials to feature development and children’s cartoon series.  I’m trying to think beyond that now.  What do I have to offer the world as an artist?  I want to illustrate the celebration of life through all the world’s diverse cultures and all that entails from music to craft and all the things that define a place.”

Benjamin currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Where the winds may take him next, only time will tell.

Fenway Fan

Fenway Fan grew up in China, but in her early twenties, she moved to the United States to pursue her dreams of becoming a great film artist.  Fenway received her Master of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) School of Film and Animation.  Her thesis film, Handi & V—a UPA style 2D animated short film about time capsules and finding a lost memory—won many applause and awards in film festivals.  Additionally, while Fenway was pursuing her Masters degree, she interned with Curious Pictures, a production house located in New York City, where she was a pre-production designer who set the overall style keys for two animated commercials.  After graduating from RIT, Fenway worked with Tee Bosutow, son of United Productions of America (UPA) founder Stephen Bosutow, and became the lead character designer for his feature documentary film.  Shortly thereafter, Fenway moved to Florida where she freelanced for Disney Theme Park Merchandise, designing “Tsum Tsums”, Vinylmation™ figures, pins, home décor, plush toys, and packaging for various figurines, among other things.  Simultaneously, she works on projects for the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Fenway’s whimsical and colorful artistic style distinguish her designs from others.  She has received many accolades including winning Wieden+Kennedy London’s Nokia “Hand Shake” Design Competition, winning the Silver Prize at Cut&Paste’s International Digital Design Tournament Shanghai Championship, her thesis film won 1st place at the My Hero International Film Festival and was presented at more than 20 film festivals and events.  Her artwork has been featured on websites, in the Creative Talent Network Animation Expo, Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, and other reputable galleries.  Orlando TV also did an interview with her.

Fenway Fan is currently based in Boston, MA, and freelancing on many projects. Recently she joined Hasbro, designing new products for Hanazuki brand.
