Michelle Bickford Headshot

Michelle Bickford

Michelle Bickford–a former graphic designer gone rogue and the daughter of an engineer–utilizes that background to create three-dimensional art with a mid-century modern flair. She uses bold sculptural shapes, mixed with an element of surprise, to convey both her love of abstract forms and her sense of humor. Michelle begins her art by visually translating her sensations and perceptions into “a story with no words”. This sets the tone and creates her goal. She describes it as “visually engineering a solution and then adding an unexpected twist”. This process started when she was a wee tyke building architectural sculptures out of toothpicks, and segued into her present mid-century modern work. Like a rolling stone, Michelle gathers no moss. She sometimes talks like a pirate, and knows how to stand on her head.

Jeff Granito Headshot

Jeff Granito

Artist Jeff Granito was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating from Villa Park High School he received his BA in History at Tufts University in Boston.  In 1994 he graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Going on 16 years, Jeff enjoys working from his home office with his golden retriever Sutter at his feet. A full time freelance Graphic Artist, his longtime clients include Disney Theme Parks, Warner Brothers, Sketchers, Universal Studios, Nickelodeon, Victoria’s Secret, Fox, Tilly’s, DC Comics, Cartoon Network, Sesame Street, and many more.

Jeff is honored to be an Artist in Residence at Disneyland’s WonderGround Gallery creating one of a kind pieces, Giclees, and support merchandise.  January 2014 has been an exciting year as Jeff has partnered with Kimberly Montgomery of Montage Licensing. Together they begin his first foray into the world of art licensing.  His designs have recently been partnered with clients for garden flags, gift wrap, and stationary.

Married 19 years, his wife and children call Ladera Ranch their home. Jeff has been honored to donate his time and talents in his community creating logo’s, branding, and event design for Ladera Ranch Elementary and Middle School, Friends of the Ladera Ranch Library, Ladera Ranch Little League Baseball, San Juan Hills High School, St. John’s Episcopal Elementary and Middle School, LREF Education Foundation, Saint Margaret’s Episcopal School, and Santa Margarita Catholic School.

Max Grundy Headshot

Max Grundy

One of the most recognized and most influential hot rod artists of the modern hot rod and lowbrow art scene, Max Grundy moved from his home town of Salt Lake City, Utah to Los Angeles to pursue a full time career as an artist and never looked back. Somewhat of a nomad, Max criss-crosses the globe vending at hot rod shows and art galleries in the U.S.A., U.K., Europe, Japan, and Australia. His work is unique and striking in style and emotion. It’s determined themes are instantly recognizable as his own out of the ordinary style.

Michael Murphy Headshot

Michael Murphy

After practicing architecture for 15 years, I began to shift my focus from the profession and repurpose my skills as an architect in a new way.

What had started out as a personal exploration of reimagining the built and unbuilt environment in a new and fresh way slowly became a full time experiment of depicting and capturing these ideas via various media and artistic presentations. The work intends to allow the viewer to see well -known as well as obscure architecture in a different light using dramatic and impossible viewpoints, as well as via the utilization of color palettes not typically associated with certain places and buildings. The actual pieces and techniques vary from highly controlled paint, pencil, and digital work, to more fluid and structurally ambivalent renderings, all of which owes a debt to the great architects and artists who continue to inspire and influence me.
